Are you looking for a safe, supportive space where you can express yourself and feel truly heard? Sometimes, life can feel overwhelming. As a dedicated children’s and young people’s counsellor, I provide a warm, compassionate environment where you can explore your feelings without fear of judgement. Trust is at the core of my approach, ensuring that each session is a place where you feel secure, valued, and understood.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each young person I work with. Drawing from a range of modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), art and creative therapy, systemic family therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed techniques, I support clients up to the age of 25 with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement, and loss. I work collaboratively with each client to help them develop coping skills and resilience. I am dedicated to empowering young people to process their emotions, understand their experiences, and move forward with a greater sense of well-being.
I came to counselling from an education background, having worked in a variety of roles for 12 years. This has given me insight into the social and emotional difficulties young people face, such as academic stress, bullying, and self-esteem issues. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education, a Level 7 diploma in children and young people’s counselling, and I am currently completing a master’s in CYP counselling.
I also work as a volunteer counsellor at a bereavement charity.
